On a full-time equivalent basis, our company had 53,870 employees on December 31, 2021 (2020: 54,722), thereof 7,241 at adidas AG (2020: 6,963). In 2021, personnel expenses decreased slightly to € 2.451 billion (2020: € 2.483 billion), representing 12% of sales (2020: 13%). In 2022, adidas plans to hire more than 2,800 new employees.
